Mrs. Melanie Caldwell Quinn, age 42, left this life to be with her Lord on January 10, 2006. Melanie was born August 5, 1963 to Janelle and Truman Caldwell of Bonham, Texas. She was a 1981 graduate of Bonham High School and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She married Paul Quinn on December 31, 1993 in Roswell, Georgia. Melanie worked for Tony Vitz of Vitz Law Office in McKinney, Texas for the past five years. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for Post 928, Derby, New York. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, and treasured her many friends. Melanie’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her church family, many friends, her Liver Transplant Support Group and many prayer groups across the country and abroad. She is survived by her husband Paul, parents Janelle and Truman Caldwell of Bonham; daughters Alex Moore of McKinney, Chrissy Quinn of McKinney, Jennifer Quinn of Angola, New York; brother, Kevin (Lynn) Caldwell of Dallas; mother-in-law, Catherine Keiser of Angola, New York; special friend Melanie Jett Scherder of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of McKinney on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas. Her pastor, Dr. Jeff Warren will officiate the services. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 12th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
