Megan Marissa May age 23, of Frisco, Texas passed away on December 31, 2008. She was born on November 7, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas to Marc and Karen (Branscum) May. On March 21, 2008, she married Jacob Shelton in Plano, Texas. She worked as a Receptionist in the law office of Woods, May & Matlock, P.C. Megan was a loving and free spirit. She was such an incredible daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. It was such a blessing to be loved by Megan - you knew she would always be right by your side. Megan knew how to love and encourage - she could always find a way to make you smile. Her passion for life was contagious. She will be greatly missed, a women of such selfless strength can never be replaced. She is survived by her parents, Marc and Karen May and sister, Macy May all of Frisco Texas; brothers, Bryan Hamilton and wife Lorena of Odessa, Texas and Chad May and wife Jennifer of Austin, Texas; nieces, Madison and Skylar; nephews, Josh, Dylon, Adam, Noah, Reece, Gabrielle and Daniel; husband, Jacob Shelton of Little Elm, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, O’Riley May; grandmother, Bobby May; grandfather, Vernon Branscum; grandmother, Lucille Branscum and uncle, Kelly Branscum. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Chapel at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, with Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expy N., Allen, Texas 75013.
