Carl, Maynard, “Bo” Duncan, age 48 of Burley, Idaho, passed away February 26, 2006 in Burley, Idaho after a long battle with Lou Gehrigs’ disease. He was born March 4, 1957, in Orange, California, to Milo and Lydia (Stormont) Carl. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 8 years and as a freelance writer for the Ogden Standard during his illness. Mr. Carl is survived by his mother, Lydia Carl of Princeton, TX; brothers, Michael Carl and wife, Brenda of McKinney, TX; Marcus Carl and wife, Jerri of Princeton, TX; sister, Lyndia Martin and husband Ronald of Princeton, TX, and five nephews and 3 nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, TX, Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Internment will follow at the Princeton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The ALS Association or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
