Mrs. Maxine Bailey Emerson of Golden, Colorado formerly of Valdasta, Texas passed away January 4, 2012 in Golden, Colorado.
She was born September 3, 1923 in Verona, Texas the daughter of W.L and Gertie Young Bailey.
She married R.J. Emerson March 24, 1941 in Merit, Texas, and he preceded her in death. Maxine worked at several retail stores including McKinney Dry Goods, The Little Red Hen and Sir Alec's stores. She attended Valdasta Methodist Church and later Verona Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Barry Emerson of Rhome, Texas, two grandchildren, Paul Ememerson and Lisa Underwood and 1 great grand child Conner Underwood all of Mephis, Tennessee.
