Maureen Kerrigan LupPlace, after a long illness passed away on May 4, 2011 at the age of 55. Maureen was a Registered Nurse; she graduated from Arizona State University and received her nursing degree from Brookhaven College. She is survived by her husband, Bryan LupPlace of Richardson, Texas, and parents, James and Patricia Kerrigan of Plano, Texas. Her children are Caroline and her husband Luis Burgos of Allen, Texas and their children, Gabriella, Luis Jr., and Ava; Thomas Kissell of Richardson, Texas and Paul Kissell of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings, James L. Kerrigan Jr. and wife Jaqueline of Seattle, Washington, Susan and husband Curtis Barlowe of Allen, Texas, Peter Kerrigan of McKinney, Texas, Paula Benton and husband Bill of Van Alstyne, Texas, William Kerrigan and wife Katrina of New Concord, Ohio, and Mary Jane Kerrigan of Reston, Virginia. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas, on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your local Salvation Army Chapter or Catholic Relief Services, 228 West Lexington Ct., Baltimore, Maryland 21201-3443.
