Mattie Mae McEuen, age 93, of Murphy, Texas passed away June 10, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. She was born May 21, 1911, in Wylie, Texas to Melvin and Minnie (Eubanks) Flanagan. On May 7, 1927, she married Elmer L. McEuen in McKinney. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Lawson of Princeton, Texas; sons, Billly McEuen and wife, Mae of Murphy and Joe McEuen of Arlington, Texas; sister, Hazel Gay of Garland, Texas; brother, Leon Flanagan of Garland; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers; and a son-in-law. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Gay officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
