Mary L. Williams, age 79, of Princeton, Texas passed away October 22, 2012. She was born July 6, 1933 in Tom Bean, Texas to Thomas E. Gaskill and Ida Mae (Hill) Gaskill. On October 16, 1961 she married Bob J. Williams in McKinney, Texas. Mary grew up in Van Alstyne, Texas where she attended school. She worked at Safeway, Haggar Slacks and Princeton Food Mart. Mary enjoyed playing dominoes, camping and fishing.
She is survived by her husband, Bob J. Williams of Princeton, Texas; sons, Steven W. Miller and wife, Bonnie of Roswell, Georgia, Kerry Williams of Colbert, Oklahoma, Kevin Williams and wife, Donna of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Lindsay Ashworth, Ethan Williams, Evyn Williams and Kendra Williams; three great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Gaskill and wife, Mary Sue of Channelview, Texas; sisters, Verna Mae Carney of Van Alstyne, Texas, Lorraine Sekula and husband, Andy of Hurst, Texas, Loy Burgess and husband, Olan of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
