Mary Caroline Saur, age 87, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 12, 2011, in McKinney. Mary was born February 28, 1924, in Flushing, New York, to Alfred and Mary (Young) Ganss. She is survived by her son, Robert Saur and wife, Paula of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Mary Jean Mobyed of Wilton, Connecticut and Joanne Shea and husband, Dennis of Williamsburg, Virginia; brothers, Alfred Ganss of Mansfield, Texas and Robert Ganss and wife, Paula of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew Mobyed and wife, Kirstin of Wilton, Connecticut, Jeannette Baxendale and husband, Matt of Stamford, Connecticut, Christopher Saur and wife, Laura of McKinney, Texas, Michael Saur, also of McKinney, Gregory Shea and wife, Lisa of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, and Colin Shea of Great Falls, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Meredith Mobyed of Wilton Connecticut, Kara Mobyed, also of Wilton, Haley Saur of McKinney, Texas, Emily Saur, also of McKinney, and Olivia Baxendale of Stamford, Connecticut; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene C. Saur, son-in-law, Robert T. Mobyed, and great-grandchildren, Owen and Faith Baxendale. Her final resting place will be with her husband, Eugene C. Saur at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton New York. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
