Mary Elizabeth Rue, age 84, of Celina, Texas passed away July 19, 2006 in Celina. She was born October 3, 1921 in Pilot Point, Texas to Roy J. and Thelma A. (Bradford) Ellison. She married Grover Rue October 4, 1939 in Denton, Texas. Mary was a Homemaker and a longtime member of the First Presbyterian in Celina. She is Survived by; children and spouses, Grover C. “Lucky” Rue, Jr. and Anna of Prosper, Texas and Nancy and Tom Ferguson of Sugar Land, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Becky and Darrell Southard, Jennifer and Wade Cleary and Jeff and Melinda Ferguson; 5 great grandchildren, Peyton Williams, Stetson Southard, Hunter and Caitlyn Cleary, and Jacob Ferguson; sisters, Hortense Pittman and husband Ray, Phala Norris and Thelma Hudson and husband Bob; sister-in-law, Lanell Giles and husband Ben, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Grover C. Rue and granddaughter, Brenda Rue. Services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Celina with Rev. Rich Rindfuss officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Celina, Texas. Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 21, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina.
