Mary Ruth Mounger Duncan, age 78, of Princeton, Texas, passed away September 15, 2008, in Dallas, Texas. Ruth was born January 11, 1930, in Culleoka, Texas, to Charles Franklin and Pearl (Smith) Mounger. She married Robert C. Duncan, Sr., on August 26, 1946, in Denton, Texas. Ruth worked for Haggar Slacks factory in McKinney for many years, a member of the Baptist faith, and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Princeton, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Robert C. Duncan Jr. of Princeton, Texas and Jimmy Duncan and his wife, Kay, also of Princeton; daughters, Reba Baker and her husband, Larry, Sr. of Belton, Texas and Freda Addison of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Pettett and husband, Paul, Jeffrey Rushing and wife, Gail, Larry Baker, Jr. and wife, Kim, Brian Duncan and wife, Hillary, Wesley Duncan, and wife, Patricia, Berman Roberson and wife, Mira, Jason Morgan and wife, Jennifer, Shahmaria Heath and husband, Terry, and Omalee Bourland and companion Danica Dietz; great-grandchildren, Evalyne and Kamee Roberson, Ross and Clay Feagin, Samantha, Nathan, Whiteny Morgan, Justin Saunders, Misty, Mindy, and B. J. Heath, Sky, Cheyla, and Wren Pettet, Gavin Duncan, Madison Salmons, and Holly and Iris Baker; great-great-granddaughter, Rianna Gorham; sisters, Glenna Ramsey of McKinney, Texas, Sue Edwards of Princeton, Texas, and Charlotte Lowe of Wylie, Texas. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, R. C. ,daughter, Sandra Duncan, brother, Waylon Mounger, two sisters, Wanda Duncan and Nina Mounger, and three grandchildren, D. W. Morgan, Carrie Duncan, and Sabrina Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, September, 18, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen/McKinney, Texas with Tom Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen/McKinney. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 PM Wednesday evening.
