Mary Lytle Biggerstaff Morgan was born June 10, 1919 at Tom Bean, Texas to Aaron Lytle Biggerstaff and Monnie Jane Donovan Biggerstaff. She married Harry Dwayne Morgan at Dallas, Texas. She died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas at the age of 92 after a lengthy illness. Mary graduated from Whitewright High School. She later worked as a seamstress before working at Texas Instruments for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mary was an avid reader and supporter of literacy and the Whitewright Public Library and the Boy Scouts. She lived her life with a giving heart and sacrificed much so that others could have. She is survived by son, Butch Morgan and wife Danna of Whitewright; grandson, Russell J Morgan of Irving; great-grandchildren, Logan and Hannah Morgan; sister, Edith Skinner and husband James of Fannin County; 4 nephews and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Morgan; sister, Monabelle Saenz; brothers, John Biggerstaff and James Donovan Biggerstaff. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Pallbearers will be Mike Flowers, Barry Bonds, Richard Santagrossi, Steve Spann, Larry Deeds, and Bob Purdom. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Howell and Jimmy Childers. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to the Whitewright Public Library, Boy Scouts or the Salvation Army.
