Mary Ellen (White) Masters, age 71, passed away on January 19, 2009. She was born on November 12, 1937 in Kankakee, Illinois to Mary Kathryn (O’Malley) and Thomas White. Mary Ellen was a Homemaker. Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Mark Masters and his wife, Margaret of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Beth Crist and her husband, Glenn of Cypress, Texas, Jane Mueller and her husband, Mark of Frisco, Texas, and Joan Minaldi and her husband, Troy of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Crist, Marlo Masters, Maggie Masters, Marin Masters, Kendall Minaldi; brothers, James White and his wife, Mary Ann of Lakeville, Minnesota and Thomas White and his wife, Faye of Manteno, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco, these funds will help adorn the new church. The Catholic Church was a very important part of Mary Ellen's life.
