Mary Rosalie Lynch, age 83, of Krugerville, Texas, passed away December 18, 2011. She was born June 11, 1928, in Celina, Texas, to Mack and Mary Eva (Billmeier) O’Dell. Rose grew up in Celina, where she attended school at Alla Hubbard. On April 13, 1946, she married Pete Gunter, in Weston, Texas; he preceded her in death on November 16, 1978. Rose later married, Walter J. Lynch in 1982; he preceded her in death on June 30, 1996. She retired from Texas Instruments after thirty one years of employment. Rose also worked for Hilltop Haven Care Center, in Gunter, for over five years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Celina. Rose is survived by her brothers, Mack O’Dell, Jr. of Assaria, Kansas and Alvin Ray O’Dell of Irving, Texas; sisters, Bertie Pursley of Carrollton, Texas and Iva Ingram of Tioga, Texas; several nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Mary Eva O’Dell; husbands, Pete Gunter and Walter J. Lynch; sisters, Hattie Shackeford and Barbara Hammonds; brother, John Paul O’Dell; and son, Joe Alton Gunter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Tuesday evening, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
