Mary C. Kaulfus, age 90, of Dallas, Texas, passed away March 9, 2014, in Dallas. Mary was born February 22, 1924, in Rosebud, Texas, to Leo and Alma (Green) Bruggman. She married Oscar Kaulfus in 1942, in Rosebud. The two celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage prior to his death in 1999. In their retirement years, they loved to travel, play 42, and loved to dance. Mary loved her family dearly and her grandchildren and great-grandson were the highlights of her life. She was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Dana Hamilton and husband, Ruel of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Hamilton and wife, Anne, John Hamilton and wife, Sarah, and Mandi Hamilton, all of Dallas, Texas; and great-grandson, Jack Hamilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Noraline Stock, and brother, Albert Bruggman.
The family would like to thank the staff at Manchester Place for their loving care the last several months of her life.
