Mary Ann Herbel, of Plano, Texas, passed away on June 12, 2013 at the age of 59. She was born December 8, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Charles Henry and Hilda Lee (Siders) Redding. Mary Ann grew up in Texarkana and Richardson, where she graduated from J. J. Pearce High School in 1971; she earned an Associate Degree in Business from Cisco Junior College. Mary Ann had worked in various capacities, but most recently as a contractor for Hewlett Packard. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting. Mary Ann had a strong Christian faith.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Herbel, Jeremy Herbel and wife Gabby all of Frisco, Texas; brothers, Michael Redding and his family, Pat Redding and his family, Robert Redding, David Redding and his family; sister, Kathy Redding and her family; a host of other loving family and friends.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lee Redding.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
