Mary Alice Fredricks McLeod, age 70, of Frisco, Texas, formerly of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away December 5, 2007 in Frisco. She was born October 4, 1937, in New York, New York, to George Douglas and Alice Clara (Andrus) Fredricks. She was raised in Houston, Texas and earned her Master’s Degree in piano performance from Indiana University. On July 10, 1971, she married Richard McLeod in Shreveport. She taught music in the elementary schools in Shreveport and was a member of Community Christian Fellowship in Frisco. She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Richard; sons, Paul of Carthage, NY and Timothy Young McLeod of Shreveport; daughter, Anne Marie Rowland and her husband Doug of Frisco; and grandchildren, Tucker and Brenley Rowland. She is preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Family Worship Center in McKinney with Rev. John Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visititation on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service.
