Martha Jane Harmon Yoss, 83 year old Leonard resident, was born January 1, 1933 at Cleo Springs, Olkahoma. Her parents were Wherry Lafyette and Roberta Bell Carter Harmon. She graduated from Cleo Springs High School as the Salutatorian of her class in 1950. She married William J. “Bill” Yoss March 12, 1951 at Enid, Oklahoma. She worked in the Banking Industry and was a member of the American Institute of Banking. She was also a graduate of the Texoma Police Academy and was a former member of the Leonard City Council. She passed away at her residence Monday September 19, 2016.

She is survived by her husband: William J. “Bill” Yoss of Leonard; her sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Sylvia Yoss of Cuero, Texas and Rick and Jennifer Yoss of Jet, Oklahoma; her sisters: Hilda Crain of Helena, Oklahoma and Mabel Godfrey of Rolla, Missouri; her granddaughter and husband: Rachael and Jeff Collins of Little Elm, Texas and her great-granddaughter: Catherine Collins of Little Elm, Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Yoss, and a grandson, Chris Arnold.
