Martha Lucille (Worthington) Moore was born October 16, 1915 in Corsicana, Texas and passed away March 24, 2004 in Dallas, Texas. Martha married Alfred Lawrence Moore on July 19, 1936 in Frisco, Texas and together they had two sons. Martha was a lifetime member of Button Memorial United Methodist Church of Little Elm. Martha was a very active community member over the years; some of her favorite activities involved the Home Extension Agency, Garden Club, Lion’s Club, volunteer for Denton State School, UMW, and the Red Hat Society. She and Lawrence were residents of Little Elm for 80 years. Martha is survived by two sons, Jim Moore and wife Carroll who live in Wills Point, Texas and Mark Moore and wife Jean of Sachse, Texas; three grandchildren, Sherri Wilson, Jessie Moore and Nathan Moore; great grandson, Charlie Foster; and brother, Walter Worthington of Ft. Worth. Services were held at Button Memorial United Methodist Church on March 27th with Pastor John Gowling officiating. Burial was at Little Elm Cemetary.
