Martha M. Mills, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2017. She was born November 23, 1931 to Loyd and Elizabeth Jane (Ingram) Wilder in Collin County, Texas. Martha grew up in Collin County and attended schools in Farmersville. When her children were younger and married they loved to go to the mall to shop, just being together, taking her grandkids sometimes, also. When her great-grandkids were born, they became her life and she loved them so much. Martha faithfully attended the First Church of the Nazarene in McKinney, Texas for over twenty years. When she moved to Plano, she attended Richardson Church of the Nazarene until her health declined. Martha loved the Lord with all her heart and soul and it showed in every aspect of her life. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and they will all miss her so much. She was surrounded by her entire family the morning before and day she went to be with the Lord, her mom, dad, brothers and sisters. She will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Forte of Richardson, Texas, Lisa Passons and husband D.G. of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren, Jason Forte of Frisco, Texas and Kristine Passons of Denison, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brayden Spade and Parker Schwab; a host of other loving family and friends.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Elizabeth Jane Wilder; four sisters; and five brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Friday evening, October 20, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.
