Marshall “Lane” Roach, age 85, of Plano , Texas , passed away August 31, 2010 in Stephenville , Texas . Lane was born August 8, 1925, in Paris , Texas , to Thomas G. and Maggie Beatrice (Webb) Roach. He married Evelyn Olive Ford, on August 14, 1948, in Paris , Texas . She preceded him death on March 4, 1992. Lane grew up in Paris , where he graduated from high school. He worked in the dairy industry most of his life and retired from Oak Farms Dairy in Dallas , Texas . Lane proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he earned the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. He served during World War II. He enjoyed playing golf. Lane was a member of Northwest Baptist Church-Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas , Texas . He is survived by his daughter, Shari Farrow and husband Ron of Stephenville, Texas; granddaughter, Jessica Farrow of Dallas, Texas; and grandson, Zachary Farrow of Stephenville, Texas. Lane was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Roach; and parents, Thomas and Maggie Roach. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment with military honors will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park . Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience to pay their respects and to sign the register book on Thursday.
