Marsha Louise Erickson, age 63, of Plano, Texas, passed away January 21, 2014, in Dallas, Texas. Marsha was born May 13, 1950, in Hallock, Minnesota, to Edmund Oscar and Helen Marie (Anderson) Johnson. She married John Henry Erickson on August 8, 1970, in Hallock, Minnesota. Marsha grew up in Hallock, Minnesota and graduated from Hallock High School in 1968. She worked as a bookkeeper for a few years, but was a homemaker most of her life. Marsha enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her husband, John Erickson of Plano, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Erickson of Plano, Texas and Kristine Baker and husband, Brian of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Parker Erickson-Good and Benjamin Baker; mother, Helen Marie Johnson of Hallock, Minnesota; sister, Connie LaRoche and husband, Mike of Excelsior, Minnesota; brothers, Don Johnson of Columbus, Ohio and Glenn Johnson and wife, Jean of Purham, Minnesota; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Barb Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2014, at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
