Mr. Marlin Lee “Pat” Patterson, age 72, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 19, 2010, at his home. He was born November 22, 1937, in Lampasas, Texas to W.D. and Ella Mae (Hesson) Patterson. On April 13, 1962, he married Barbara Jean Hickey in Reno, Nevada. Pat proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a paint contractor and a member of the First Baptist Church in McKinney. Pat is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Amy Patterson of Lucas, Texas and Brett and Fran Patterson of Heath, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Leah and Marvin Berlin of McKinney, Texas; mother, Ella Mae Patterson of Rowlett, Texas; grandchildren, Candace and Todd Middleton, Lindsey Patterson, Lacee Patterson, Annalee Berlin, Tori Berlin, Jeff Howard, Gavin Howard, Tori Thorne and Lexi Thorne; great grandchild, Cash Middleton; brother and sister, Tommy Patterson and Betty Gensler both of Mesquite, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and many friends. His father, W.D. Patterson preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Jeff Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
