Mark Russell Ward age 55, of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 4, 2009. He was born on October 27, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ovid Carlton and Myra Jeanette Ward. On July 31, 1976, he married Roxann Aaron in Abilene, Texas. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed by Raytheon as a Logistics Manager. He served as a Deacon and small group leader at Farmers Branch Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Roxann Aaron Ward of McKinney, TX; mother, Myra Jeanette Ward of Shreveport, LA; brother, Reid Ward and wife Paula of Shreveport, LA; sister, Kim Reeves and husband Terry of Houston, TX; daughter, Casey Ward Messer and husband Will of McKinney, TX; son, Zachary Ward and wife Meagan and granddaughter, Taylor Ward all of Frisco, TX; In-laws, Gene and Al Aaron of Abilene, TX; sister-in-law, Cathy Erminger and husband Mark of Houston, TX; five nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Ovid Carlton Ward and sister, Sharon Sue (Sherrie) Ward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Farmers Branch Church of Christ, with Bro. Eddy Ketchersid officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
