Mark B. Nilan, Sr., age 65, of Dallas, Texas passed away May 13, 2009. He was born December 23, 1943 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to John Francis and Marcella (Lindquist) Nilan. On August 14, 1981 he married Maria Socorro Perez in Dallas, Texas. Mark proudly served in the United States Navy. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Mark was a manager for 7-11, Swift-T and Centennial where he retired after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Maria Socorro Nilan of Princeton, Texas; sons, Mark Bernard Nilan, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, John Francis Nilan III of Dallas, Texas, Matthew Luke Nilan of Princeton, Texas and Michael Thomas Nilan of Princeton, Texas; granddaughter, Alyssa Nilan of Dallas, Texas and Leslie Nilan of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Sean Allen of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marcella Nilan; brother, Jon Nilan and son, Timothy Phillips Nilan. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas.
