Mark Robert Feldman, Sr.

Mark Robert Feldman, Sr., age 63, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 5, 2014, in McKinney. Mark was born February 12, 1951, in Buffalo, New York, to George Joseph and Mary Ellen (Cronin) Feldman, Jr., He graduated from the University of Akron. He married Patricia O’Bryan on June 9, 1973, in Wadsworth, Ohio. Mark was an electronic engineer and most recently worked in the Quality Group at Texas Instruments for the past nine years. He was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Community. Mark was a member of Knights of Columbus and served with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He was a dedicated Pro-Life advocate, receiving the Bishop’s Pro-Life Award for Public Witness.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Feldman of McKinney, Texas; son, Mark Robert Feldman, Jr. and wife, Chontae of McKinney; daughter, Mary Leigh Feldman Nations, also of McKinney; grandchildren, Julia, Carly, and Gabriel; father, George J. Feldman, Jr. and wife, Sandy of Akron, Ohio, brothers, Paul Feldman and wife, Jeaneen of Great Falls, Virginia, John Feldman and wife, Musetta of Pensacola, Florida, and Jim Feldman of Duluth, Minnesota; and extended family, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Jeanne O’Bryan, sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Stroud, Carolyn Cochran, Barbara and Ron Riberich, Donna and Rick Larkin, Teresa and John Gregory, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Feldman and brother, Peter Feldman.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2014, at the church with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
