Marjorie Ann Lowery, age 84 of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 24, 2013 in Frisco. She was born on February 9, 1929 in Warren, Ohio to Charles and Gertrude (Fenstamaker) Grimsley. Marjorie married James A. Lowery, Jr. on August 19, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio in 1947 going on to study at Youngstown University where she received a B.S. in Education in 1951. Later Marjorie would attain her Masters degree in Education from the State University of New York, College at Oswego. She retired from the Baldwinsville Central Schools in 1991 after 36 years of service. Marjorie and James lived in Baldwinsville, New York for over fifty years. She was a member of the Female Charitable Society of Baldwinsville, NY; Traveler’s Club of Baldwinsville; Lifetime Member of National Education Association; Baldwinsville Teacher’s Association and a Lifetime Member of Parent-Teacher Association.

Marjorie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A. Lowery III and Karen Roesch Lowery of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, James A. Lowery IV (Jake), Alexandra N. Lowery and Matthew C. Lowery; sisters, June Maltbie of Heath, Ohio and Marilyn Maras, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gertrude Middlestead Grimsley; her husband of 60 years, James A. Lowery, Jr. and her sister Cleone Rintala.
