Mariann Kramer, age 37, of McKinney, Texas passed away July 22, 2006, in Denver, Colorado. She was born January 9, 1969, in Paterson, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. She will be remembered for the great love she had for her son and life. Mariann enjoyed being a volunteer at her son’s school. She also enjoyed horseback riding and was an Equestrian Champion as well as an equestrian instructor. Mariann will also be remembered for living life to the fullest. Her many interests and talents were music, dancing, swimming and skydiving. She would not hesitate to help any one in need, which proved to be a valuable part of her character as a volunteer EMT in Collin County. She is survived by her parents, Frank and Mary Lazorik of McKinney, Texas; son and love of her life, Garrett Wade Kramer of Frisco, Texas; sister, Victoria Lazorik of Florham Park, New Jersey; former husband, Dr. Steve Kramer of Frisco; mother-in-law, Barbara Kramer of Melissa, Texas; sister-in-law, Christine Kramer of Frisco; aunt, Anna Lazorik of Florham Park, New Jersey; uncles, Frank Skladany of Parsippany, New Jersey and Joseph Skladany of Laurel, Maryland; birth mother, Joanne Korothy; grandmother, Josephine Korothy, aunt Christine Walsh and cousin, Dena Morrissey all of Cedar Grove, New Jersey. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2006, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 110 St. Gabriel Way in McKinney, Texas with Father Peter Tuan Le officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
