Marguerite “Mickey” Poeck, age 89, of Plano, Texas, was called by our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 3, 2008. She was born September 11, 1918, in Littlefield, Texas, the daughter of Herman John and Fredaricka (Sueltz) Michlink. On November 11, 1937, she married William Rinehold Poeck in Littlefield, Texas. Mickey will be remembered for the love, kindness and hugs she showed to her family and friends. She was an example of the love of Jesus. She is survived by her daughters, Margie Best Henry of Plano, Sharon Sandling of Plano and Linda Frei of San Antonio; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Myrtle Evans of Waxahachie, Texas and Christine Loschke of Prescott Valley, Arizona. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William on May 16, 1979; sisters, Esther Poeck and Laura Kreneck; and brother, Fred Michlink. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas, with Pastor James D. Woelmer officiating.
