Marguerite Moses

Marguerite H. Moses, 92, of Binghamton, New York, formerly of Temple, Texas, went to her eternal rest on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 surrounded by family at the Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home.

She was born October 3, 1924 in Krum, Texas to John and Willa Hudgins. Marguerite graduated from the University of North Texas and Baylor School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas. She worked as a registered nurse for 35 years for the VA at various hospitals. She was a member of the Hawleyton United Methodist Church and past member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Temple, Texas.  She was an accomplished artist and a member of the National United Methodist Campers. She was always interested in church missions and went to Haiti as a volunteer in missions.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hosea, Laurie and Suzannne for the care they gave Marguerite.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Leland (Moe) Moses Jr.; step-son, Kenneth Moses of Punta Gorda, FL; step-grandsons, K.J. Moses and his wife Lindsey of Estero, Fl.; Dr. Kevin Moses and wife Sasha of Miami, FL; step-great grandchildren, Gia and Jenna Moses of Estero, FL; beloved nephew, Les Jaycox and his wife Dianna; niece, Saundra Kinsman; brother, John Hudgins of Denton, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Dr. Al Crawford of Denton, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John David Fundenburg; her parents John and Willa Hudgins and brother, A.J. Hudgins.

Graveside services will be in held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas, where she will be laid to rest next to her first husband, James David Fundenburg.
