Margie Pearl, age 60, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 8, 2014, in McKinney.  Margie was born February 23, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to James C. and Agness L. (Miller) Pearl.  She married Terry Campbell on April 25, 2009, in McKinney.  Margie proudly served in the United States Navy.  She graduated from the University of Arlington with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.  Margie was a registered nurse and well as a certified nurse case manager.  She was currently employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas.  Margie loved cats and was an accomplished cook.  She spent most of her life taking care of people; nursing was her calling.  Margie dedicated her professional lifetime to the field of nursing and offered care to a number of patients in Texas, Florida, Nebraska and Oregon during the course of her career.  Her most recent manager, Lisa Larker, described Margie by saying, “Few nurses could be more nurturing or compassionate as Margie.  She was always a ray of sunshine in our office whose presence will be greatly missed.”  She was a member Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dallas. 

She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn S. Pearl of Bedford, Texas and Mary Pearl of Redding, California; nieces, Becky Richards and Raven Schlossberg; nephew, Rand Richards; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Pearl, and beloved husband, Terry Campbell.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.  Inurnment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
