Margie Gladys Hayes Forsyth, age 101, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2009. She was born on June 3, 1908 to Asa and Cassie (Reeves) Hayes in Chambersville, Texas. On September 5, 1931 she married George Forsyth. She was a life long resident of Texas and was a member of the Quilter’s Club of McKinney. Margie was also a member of the First Christian Church of McKinney and the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Lowe of McKinney, Texas and grandson, Chad Lowe of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lera Clency and brother, Otis Hayes. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas, with Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. Family and friends are invited for a visitation prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
