Margaret Poteet, age 56, of Dallas, Texas, passed away February 17, 2010, in Dallas. Margaret was born July 31, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to Richard W. and Vera (Eck) Hemingway. She was a computer designer in civil engineering. Margaret was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her son, Evan Poteet of Fairfax, Virginia; parents, Richard and Vera Hemingway of Dallas, Texas; sister, Carol Neumann and husband, Michael of Plano, Texas; brother, Richard A. Hemingway and wife, Margaret of Dallas, Texas; cousin, Dolores Hansmann and husband, Jerome of New Braunfels, Texas; niece, Stephanie Schiefer; nephew, Michael Neumann, Jr.; great-nephew, Aidan Schiefer; and great-niece, Alice Schiefer. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. John Lindner officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
