Marqaret Mahoney of Fairview, Texas passed away July 14, 2012 in Fairview, Texas at the age of 74. She was born on July 2, 1938 in Ishpeming, Michigan to Michael and Mary (Roti) Manzoline. She graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1956 and on August 16, 1958 married Paul Mahoney at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming. Thus began their journey to various cities in the states of New Mexico, California, Colorado, Arizona and Texas and in old Mexico.
Marge dedicated her life to being a loving, caring mother to her sons and a proud homemaker for her family. After her sons were raised she worked part-time at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Danville, CA, where she helped many brides have beautiful and memorable weddings. Upon retirement, Paul and Marge moved to Fairview, Texas in 2002.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Paul of Fairview, Texas; her sons, Mark and daughter-in-law Cheryl of Ventura, California and Michael and daughter-in-law Margaret of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Neil and Kyle. Also her sisters, Janet LaCosse of Marquette, MI and Mary K. LaBo of Ishpeming, Michigan. Her parents preceded Margaret in death.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming, MI on August 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
