Mrs. Margaret Cordelia Kelley, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and matriarch, age 82, of Allen, Texas, lost her long hard-fought battle on January 9, 2009, in Allen. She was born on August 2, 1926, in Denison, Texas to William Frank and Mary (Lee) Rogers. She married Edwin F. Kelley in Fort Worth. She was a social worker and of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her daughters, Berta Prindle and Noel Cruz; sister, Betty Strong; grandchildren, Jim Prindle, Sherry Prindle, Rene and Glenn Watson, Camillo Cruz and Stephen Semonski; great grandchildren, Savannah Watson, Avery Watson and Beck Prindle; and step-son, David Kelley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; parents, Mary and Frank Rogers; grandchild, Patrick Semonski; great granddaughter, Madison Watson; sisters, Fern Jordan and Eunice Nichols; and brother, William Rogers, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday from 6:00-9:30 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
