Margaret E. Hunter of Plano, Texas passed away October 11, 2012 at the age of 94. She was born March 14, 1918 to Dewitt and Mary Kate (Prim) Cornelius in Terrell, Texas. Margaret was an active resident of Plano Community Home where she was a roving reporter. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane Smith and husband Thomas of Fairmont, West Virginia and Jean Hold and husband Monroe of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hensley of Lubbock, Texas, Bryan Smith of Fairmont, West Virginia and Christopher Smith of Bridgeport, West Virginia; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hensley and Larissa Duhon; nephew, Roger Ellis of Van Alstyne and niece, Connie Hale of Campbell, Texas.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Hunter; brother, Gene Cornelius and sister, Mary Ellis.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, Texas.
