Margaret Elaine Armand, age 81, of Allen, Texas, passed away January 16, 2014, in Allen. Margaret was born April 15, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan, to Harold L. and Margaret Adam (Hall) Rice. She married Wayne L. Armand on August 25, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. Margaret was a volunteer at Medical Center of Plano for thirty-three years and at Allen Community Outreach as well. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Allen.
She is survived by her sons, James Armand and wife, Lorena of Grapevine, Texas and Richard Armand and fiancé, Keithia of Mesquite, Texas; daughters-in-law, Kat Armand of Aubrey, Texas and Sandra Brombacher Armand of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Cesar Armand, Nicki Armand, and Matt Armand and wife, Sarah, all of Grapevine, Texas, Melissa Armand and Kelsey Armand, both of Mesquite, Texas, and Dawson Percell of Cedar Hill, Texas; great-granddaughter, Lucy Armand of Grapevine, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael Armand, granddaughter, Meshell Armand, and sister, Sue Schahfer.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 20, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
