Marcus Adrian Henry of Lindale, Texas passed away August 23, 2014 at the age of 87. He was born April 11, 1927 to Marcus Ruby Henry and Bertha (Brightwell) Henry in Hickory Grove, Arkansas. Marcus was the founder and longtime owner of Garland Hearing Aid Dispensary. He was a godly man of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Terry Henry and wife Diane of Springfield, Virginia; daughters, Susan Bradshaw of Garland, Texas and Cherri Straus and husband Mike of Lindale, Texas; grandchildren, Christian, Penelope, and Otto Straus; sister, Gladys Johnston of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Marcus was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-two years, Gladine McClung Henry, and sisters, Alma Henry of Dallas, Texas; Ruby Herring of Newport, Arkansas; and Wanda Brown of Garland, Texas.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the interment at the funeral home.
