Mrs. Marcella M. Holland, age 84, of Plano, Texas passed away February 7, 2009, in Plano. She was born on December 4, 1924, in San Diego, California. On June 17, 1947, she married David Niggel Holland in Hollywood, California. Mr. Holland preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Holland retired from RHD Memorial Hospital in Dallas where she was a medical technician. She was a member of the Mt. Saint Mary Catholic Community in Santa Monica, California, and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her children, Matthew Holland of McKinney, Texas, Michael Holland of Chicago, Illinois, Mark Holland of Plano, Texas, Martin Holland of Allen, Texas, John Holland of Santa Rosa, California, Mary Holland of Phoenix, Arizona, Julie Rubin of Plano, and David Holland of Curwensville, Pennsylvania; and 18 grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Natalie Holland. The arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
