Mrs. Marcella A. Coffey Goforth, age 88, of Pittsburg, Texas (formerly of Plano, Texas), passed away March 13, 2004, in Tyler, Texas. She was born December 19, 1915, in Lucas, Texas, to Pete and Ola Ellen (Leake) Coffey. She married R. B. “Chick” Goforth on July 6, 1935, in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Goforth was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Vernon Goforth and Jerry Goforth, both of Pittsburg, Texas; grandsons, Brett Goforth of Fort Worth, Texas, Todd Goforth of Plano, Texas, and Todd Cline of Austin, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Micah Cline, Devin Cline, Jordon Goforth and Haley Goforth. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Jerry Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral home.
