Manuel Guzman, age 70, formerly of Farmersville, Texas passed away March 16, 2011. He was born on September 27, 1940, in Agualeguas, Mexico to Gregorio and Yza (Infante) Guzman. On September 23, 1972 Manuel married his wife Blanca in Miguel Aleman, Mexico. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Manuel is survived by his daughters, Maria T. Gonzalez and husband Eduardo of Wills Point, Texas, Isa Guzman of Richardson, Texas; sons, Manuel Guzman Jr. of McKinney, Texas, Jesse Guzman of McKinney, Texas, Homer Guzman and wife Ana of Blue Ridge, Texas, and Roland Guzman of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Shelby Guzman, Alyssa Guzman, Bryan Acosta, Valerie Guzman, Jonathan Guzman, Lalito Gonzales, Alex Guzman, Clarrissa Guzman, and Michael Guzman; brother, Jose A. Guzman of Roma, Texas; sisters, Virginia Ramirez and Pola Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Feliciano Guzman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation/rosary service, Thursday evening, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
