Mallory Jane Francis, age 15, of McKinney, Texas passed away on August 10, 2004. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on August 3, 1989 to John Mackey and Ellen Sue (Bauer) Francis. Mallory was a Cajun at heart that was compassionate, loving and always walked with her head held highly. She loved her family, friends, her Sassy cat and her dog Rudy. Mallory enjoyed being at the beach or the lake and loved to bowl and ride jet skis. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Louisiana and actively attended Stonebridge United Methodist Church. Mallory was scheduled to start her freshman year next week at McKinney North High School. She is survived by her loving parents, John Mackey and Ellen Bauer Francis; big brother, John Casey Francis; sister (second mom), Lesley Claire Francis; maternal grandparents, Edgar and Betty Bauer of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; five aunts and four uncles and many loving cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gordon “Bugs” and Cornelia Mackey Francis of Jena, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Scott Bauer, Joel Denney, Bryan Francis, Mackey Francis, Lance Guichard, Jimmy Skiles and Ed Whipple. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Stonebridge United Methodist Church with Rev. John Mollet officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. She donated her corneas and heart valves for transplanting.
