Funeral Services for Mrs. Mahonna Jo McBroom Kidwell, 85 year old Trenton resident, are scheduled for Monday May 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Trenton. Brother Joshua Crutchfield will officiate. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery at Trenton. Family visitation will be from 5 until 7 P.M. Sunday May 17, 2015 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.
Mahonna was born October 29, 1929 at Leonard. Her parents were Wilford Malburn “Pip” and Lorena Maye Little McBroom. She was a 1947 graduate of Leonard High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton. She married Grady English Kidwell December 26, 1948 at Leonard. She was a retired vice-president of the First National Bank of Trenton. She passed away at TMC of Bonham Friday May 15, 2015.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Steve & Norma Kidwell of Whitewright and Tim and Kathy Kidwell of Trenton; her daughter and son-in-law: Ann and Jim Dancer of Trenton; her brother: Jim McBroom of Ft. Worth; her grandchildren: Ashley Kidwell, Matt Kidwell, Kayla & Brock Murphree, Tray & Mercedes Kidwell, Megan Dancer and Garrett & Hollie Dancer; her great-grandchildren: Jonah Spruce, Nate Spruce and Anakin Spruce.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Thomas & Elritta Little and James & Nora McBroom, an infant son, Billy Kidwell, and her sister Joyce Havens.
