Mable Pauline Parks, age 73, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away November 22, 2011, in Seagoville. Mable was born May 23, 1938, in Woodburn, Iowa, to Paul and Ethel (Love) Trumbo. She married Jerry W. Parks on May 25, 1979, in Dallas, Texas. Mable worked for Wonder Bread for nearly thirty years. She was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Parks of Seagoville, Texas; sons, Terry Burdess of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Greg Burdess, also of Moscow Mills, Missouri, and Doug Burdess of Iowa; daughters, Paula Stewart of Sherman, Texas, Pat Chunn of Irving, Texas, and Stephanie Howard, of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Dolores Ryba of Celina, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Palmer of Knoxville, Iowa; and brothers, Gene Trumbo of Des Moines, Iowa and Bob Trumbo also of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Helen Probasco, and brother, Carl Trumbo. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Chaplain Pat Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
