Lydia Kay Patterson, age 60, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away October 24, 2009, in Little Elm. Lydia was born October 28, 1948, in Sherman, Texas, to Howard Houston and Dolly Shirley (Edwards) Welch. She married Donald Patterson on August 9, 1968, in Taft, Texas. Lydia worked in the insurance business for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Donald of Little Elm; daughter, Kimberly Gonzales of Frisco, Texas; grandsons, Drew Gonzales, David Gonzales, and Devin Gonzales; sister, Linda Myers and her husband, Sam of Calallen, Texas; brother, R. B. Welch and his wife, Mary Ruth of McKinney, Texas; niece, Rebecca Warren; and nephews, Colin Welch and Sam Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco, Texas.
