Mrs. Lydia Joyce Decker, age 67 of Princeton, Texas, passed away on August 21, 2004 in McKinney. She was born on February 26, 1937 to William and Evelyn (Richter) O’Neill in Freer, Texas. On October 26, 1990, she married Bobby Lee Decker in McKinney. Mrs. Decker was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Bobby; her three daughters, Carla Swearingen of Princeton, Connie Gonzales and husband George of Hale Center, Texas, and Carrie King and husband Kevin of Ponder, Texas; step-children, Joyce Zogbi and husband Joseph of Washington state, Glenda Profitt and husband Carl of Sachse, Texas, Wallace “Wally” Swearingen of Carrollton, Texas, Phillip “Joe” Swearingen and wife Peggy of Allen, Texas, and Amanda Fisher of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Winters of Aspermont, Texas, Shirley Baxley of Allen, and Barbra Michaels and husband Tommy of Graford, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Decker is preceded in death by her daughter, Freda Marguerite; her parents; and her brother, Billy O’Neill. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
