Luis Esteban Silguero, age 23, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away, Sunday, March 18, 2007, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born January 26, 1984, in Galveston, Texas to Delfa De La Cruz. Luis grew up in McKinney, Texas. He worked in construction and was of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his mother, Delfa De La Cruz of McKinney, Texas; son, Steven Jay Silguero of Weslaco, Texas; sisters, Guadalupe De La Cruz of Allen, Texas and Guadalupe Gonzales of Mexico; uncle, Jose De La Cruz of Mexico; and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Guadalupe De La Cruz. A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2007 at St. Michaels Church, McKinney, Texas with Fr. Steven Bierschenk officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 PM in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with a Rosary in Spanish at 7:00 PM.
