Lucille Tomlinson Dugan

Lucille Tomlinson Dugan, age 88, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2015.  She was born January 1, 1927, in San Antonio, Texas to Newton J. and Lessie E. (Monroe) Tomlinson. Lucille was a 1944 graduate of Brackenridge High School. On May 1, 1953, she married Joseph P. Dugan in San Antonio. Lucille was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, where she was very involved with United Methodist Women and a leader in Senior Adult Ministries. Lucille was a member of Texas Eagle Forum and Dallas Eagle Forum, where she was Treasurer. Her home and church were the center of her life.

She is survived by her children, Joseph P. Dugan, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, Kathy Eddy and husband Doug of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Eddy, Rebecca Thomas and husband Justin, and Brian Eddy; sister, Arlene Clark and husband Frank of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Tomlinson also of San Antonio, Texas; many other loving family members and friends.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Newton J. and Lessie E. Tomlinson; husband, Joseph P. Dugan, Sr.; two sisters and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
