Mrs. Luan Boring, age 72, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 30, 2006, in Richardson, Texas. She was born August 23, 1933, in Mesa, Arizona to Raymond N. and Maryette (MacDonald) Gilmore. On December 18, 1954, she married Billy R. Boring, Sr. M.D. in Austin, Texas. Mrs. Boring earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Breckinridge Hospital in Austin. She was a member of the Joan D’ Arc Club and the First United Methodist Church in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Billy R. Boring, Sr. M.D. of McKinney; daughter, Charlotte Ann Womack and husband, Steve of McKinney; sons, Billy R. Boring, Jr. M.D. and wife, Michelle of McKinney; Ron Boring and wife, Kathy of Plano, Texas, Mark Boring and wife, Kim and Brian Boring and wife, Connie all of McKinney; grandchildren, Steven Womack of Odessa, Texas, Brad Ratliff and Cameron Ratliff of McKinney, Amy Boring and Katie Boring of Plano, Jacob Boring and Sadie Boring of McKinney, Andy Stepchinski of Little Elm, Texas and Justin Stepchinski of Frisco, Texas; great grandchildren, Aiden Herndon of Allen, Texas, Sydney Stepchinski of Little Elm and Drake Womack of Odessa, Texas; father, Raymond N. Gilmore of McKinney; brother, Gordon Ray Gilmore and wife, Donna of Bakersfield, California; sister-in-law, Sandy Gilmore of Mesquite, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and many friends. Her mother, Maryette Gilmore and brother, Glen Gilmore preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church in McKinney with Dr. Jim Palmer and Dr. John Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
