Louise Cook-Harlow Vesterby

Louise Cook Harlow Vesterby floated into the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2006 at her home in Van Alstyne, Texas. She was born in Anna, Texas on November 5, 1944 to Kelly and Glessie Cook, she was the 9th of 10 children. She was a graduate of Anna High School in 1962 and retired from Texas Instruments after 31 years of service. At the time of her death she worked as a nanny for several local families. She will be greatly missed by many people in the Collin and Grayson Counties. She was preceded in death by both parents, four sisters, and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Harlow of Melissa, Texas; son, Les Harlow and wife, Jeannie of Farmersville, Texas; granddaughter, Emily Eastham of Melissa, whom she loved dearly; brother, Jim Cook of Roy, Washington; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Cook and Marie Cook; brother-in-law, Arlin Parks; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
