Louis Byron Rogers

Louis Byron Rogers, 86, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2015 in Plano, Texas.  He was born September 5, 1928, in Council Bluff, Iowa.  He was a machinist for The Dallas Morning News.  He served in the U. S. Navy.  He married Evelyn “Tootsy” Thomas on April 12, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by his wife, “Tootsy” Rogers; son, Mark Rogers (Christy); daughter, Bridget Rogers; son, Jeff Rogers; grandchildren,Misty Che Rogers, Blake Rogers, Cheyenne Rogers, Joey Rogers, Aleena Rogers, Peyton Rogers, Chelynn Rogers,  Cameron Rogers, Emery Rogers, Shiloh Ivie and Emma Hill.  

Family will receive friends on Monday, May 18, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas 75442.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.  Bro. Tony Linton will officiate.
